
On March 4th 2011, Capital Espresso will be launching the first show of a series of Art Exhibitions. Capital Espresso’s recent opening in the old Vice Marketing building has helped develop Parkdale’s ever expanding economic growth.
For the next 6 months, on a monthly basis, Capital will be showcasing the work of local emerging artists from the GTA. The duration of each exhibit will be a month and will commence with an opening party. This celebration will recognize the artist and their work as well as bring the community together to support local solidarity. The event will also include music provided by local DJs and refreshments to cultivate a social atmosphere.
The first show on March 4th 2011 is with a young painter by the name of Jimmy Chiale. Jimmy Chiale was born and raised in Paris France and moved to Toronto in 2001 to push his career as an Artist and Designer. His work has gained acclaim with in the community from his paintings, shoe design, skate deck design, and T-shirt design.
The one and only DJ Marmalade will provide music. Doors open at 6 event goes to 11. Come out and support local art on March 4th and have a good time.
