For those of you who are worried about the current state of Graffiti in Toronto, this clip is the perfect "one-up" moment to Rob Ford's recent war on the Art Form.
He says he wants the streets cleaned up? Well, fine...we'll clean your streets... we'll wash off the Graffiti... and we'll even get Canadian Tire to give us high pressure water cleaners to clean it off too! (hehehe....suckers!)
One of the most commendable things about Graffiti, regardless of the continuous attempts to eradicate it, is the art form will always find an evolutionary way to express itself. Biggups to Canadian Tire & High Road Communication, for working with local graffiti artists, Patrick Thompson, Howie Dowitt and Scott Sueme. They were commissioned to create works of art using only a pressure washer on enormous 8×12 foot structures made from dirty fences and house panel siding.
Karcher pressure washer graffiti demo's took place in early May in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver.
