ERNIE PANICCIOLIFrom shooting graf on the New York City subways in the mid-70s, to the release of his own photography book Who Shot Ya? in ‘02, photographer Ernie Panniccioli has documented hip hop for over three decades.

DALTON HIGGINSCanada’s foremost expert on hip hop culture and recent author of Hip Hop World and Fatherhood 4.0: iDad Applications Across Cultures. In addition, Dalton is arts programmer at the Harbourfront Centre and facilitator in the More than a Haircut Barbershop Project program that promotes positive fathering in the African-Canadian community.
WEYNI MENGESHAHighly acclaimed director/dramaturge and youth arts educator, Weyni’s credits include A Raisin In The Sun, da kink in my hair, blood.claat and Yellowman. In 2008, she was awarded the RBC Emerging Artist of The Year Award (Toronto Arts Council Foundation) and was named one of NOW Magazine’s top ten theatre artists.
BUDDHASocial worker, 25+ year hip hop veteran, and founder of Canada’s oldest bboy crew, The Canadian Floor Masters – Buddha’s organization, BluePrintForLife, works wih youth-at-risk, aboriginal youth, and other groups - employing hip hop and dance as powerful tools for life-skills and community building.
IVAN EVIDENTEIvan Evidente is a music marketing guru who's career in the entertainment industry spans almost 20 years. He is a cultural developer through his involvement with the "turntablist" movement, Toronto hip hop event production, and his successful career as a record executive at Universal Music Canada.
NAYANI THIYAGARAJAHNot only a recent graduate of Ryerson’s Journalism program, Nayani is a powerful young woman and emerging artist, the co-founder of Kaleid, a coordinator at ArtReach Toronto, and a Manifesto staff member. She uses words, sounds, photography and theatre to express compelling messages to the world.
