While in Jamaica, talented film maker known to most as Veteran (LaPointe Productions) had the chance to meet up with DJ Yellow Culture during the 50th anniversary of Jamaica’s independence. DJ Yellow Culture gives us his story on how he got started in his 30+ years as a DJ and gives us an inside look of the vibes from his bed and breakfast located in Drapers Jamaica;  ‘Search Me Heart’.

On the Monday after the wedding it happened to be the 50th anniversary of Jamaica’s independence. So to celebrate, Yellow Culture (a dj for over 30+ years) played out from his yard for everyone in the neighbourhood.

Throughout the night, friends and family and neighbours showed up to vibe out and catch up over an amazing range of great music. It was a pleasure to witness him play with such genuine love and appreciation for what he does.
