For most, the August long weekend is the kickoff for Caribana Scotiabank Caribbean Carnival, or a good reason to head to the cottage with friends and family. For me, it's carnivorous Christmas.

For every Meatarian out there, Scarborough Ribfest is not just about the ribs, it's about getting together with friends and enjoying the last bit of summer we have left.

This year marks the 10th Anniversary of the Scarborough Rotary Ribfest, brought to you by The Rotary Club of Scarborough. What you will find here is everything your little summer heart desires from beer gardens, to fun and activities for the kids. Located in Thompson Park (Brimley & Lawrence) it's a good way to start or finish your long weekend.
