Produced for Red Bull Canada as part of 2007's Red Bull Music Academy arts programming, Manifesto teamed up with legendary NYC street photographer Jamel Shabazz to produce a week-long intensive photography workshop program that saw 18 young people from across the city team up with Jamel and 4 emerging Toronto photographers to learn the art of photography, its power to reframe perspectives and redefine realities in positive ways, and produce some amazing work which was exhibited at the Red Bull Music Academy gallery alongside a Shabazz retrospective.
