Sound Battle Royale is the only live beat battle series which has been running for the past 18-months, showcasing some of the Toronto regions best producers.  The event involves producers chopping, flipping, and sampling live on the spot, toward a chance to win $2000 in cash and prizes.  The event is a presentation of Starting Fresh Inc.

The Grand Finale features the 4 winners of the preliminary battles that have gone down throughout 2011.  Winners include Fresh Kils, Peter Projects, Memorecks, and Kemikal, who will battle it out for the final prize with some special guest judges in the house.

DMV based producer Nottz will be a special guest judge and performer, in addition to judges Eternia, Soul Khan, Del Cowie, Rich Kidd and Tone Mason.
