This amazing real time iPhone ap from LookTel provides eyes for the visually impaired or blind, by detecting paper money denomination amounts by simply scanning over a portion of the currency.

The ap can also be used to identify CD's, DVD's, medicine bottles, as well as some common landmarks.

Unfotunately only available for US currency at this point in time.
