Lyle Owerko; painter, photographer and now somewhat of an archaeologist of boom boxes gained much credibility after capturing photos of 9/11.

Today, he has gathered photos of the iconic boom box to create a book and exhibition of these magnificently unique machines. He speaks on the aesthetic and symbolic value of boom boxes in this video and you also get a sneak peek at his own personal collection of boom boxes.
