OPERATIONS:
Ever wanted to be the backbone of a music festival? What about lugging around cabbies, using walkie-talkies, and looking really important? We’re looking for people that enjoy a good time and don’t mind getting their hands dirty. The work is hard and the hours are long, but your name will be celebrated by generations of music lovers. Drivers with full licenses are also in major demand.
PRODUCTION:
Are you really good at a bunch of things and have tons you’re interested in? We need people who are dedicated, self-directed, and are down to work really hard for short bursts of time. The kind of work you’ll do with the production team will depend on the day and the venue, and could involve anything from wrangling performers… to moving equipment… to being on time for sound checks… to working the doors and guest list… to cleaning… to almost anything you could possibly think of…
VISUAL ARTS:
Love art? You’ll be assembling the massive graffiti walls at Nathan Phillips Square, helping bring together one of the best exhibitions of the year, beautifying workshop spaces with lots of local art, and getting exposed to some serious creativity. Hammerheads, arts lovers, creators, and budding curators are extra welcome but, generally speaking, no experience is necessary – just lots of enthusiasm and love!
ADMINISTRATION:
Organization the core of your life? Love logistics and looking to help make a festival run as smooth as possible? If you are quick with your typing fingers, resourceful on the internet, best friends with Microsoft Word, Excel and Email, this is an area for you to show us your skill. Possible opportunities involve: gathering artist bios, contracts, follow-up phone calls, creating gift bags, and the list goes on.
CREATIVE TEAM:
Do you have experience in basic html, flash, and graphic design? Are you looking to work along side the creative staff responsible for the look of Manifesto? If YES, then this is your gig! (Note: you’ll be required to provide us with a sample of your work!)
FLOATERS:
If you’re not sure what you want to do, but know you’re good at MAKING THINGS HAPPEN, then this is definitely what to sign up for.

Also, if you want to understand the buzzing PR world and the process of contacting and facilitating media, this is the place for you!
